I am a crafter.
I am a sewer.
I am the caretaker of two crazy cats who can't stand each other, which inevitably drives me a little over the edge of sanity from time to time.
I live in a small city in the north central part of Saskatchewan where the weather can be described in no other way than insane. It's not unheard of for the temperature to change by more than 30 degrees in a matter of 24 hours....which is why love to travel to get away from it from time to time.
I love to travel the world (usually by myself). I've lugged my backpack to more than 40 countries so far. I have a long way to go before I hit everyone on the United Nations membership list, but I'm working at it.
I can easily be bribed with the following:
-The smiles and laughter of my sister's kids, especially when they see me and throw their arms in the air and yell out "Auntie Tammy, you're here!!!". (ahhh, it brings tears of joy to my eyes just thinking about it.)
-Chocolate mixed with either caramel or peanut butter...hmmm, I wonder what would all three together would taste like?!?!?!
-Potato Chips. If I could live on nothing but potato chips I probably would.
-All things "girly" like make-up, clothes, accessories, shoes, and dresses.
What the heck does "Etcetorize" mean?
I don't know, it's a word I made up. It's a combination of etcetera and accessorize. I like to think of it as adding a little something extra to life, mine and yours~

Oh, hello! :o)
I always like finding out more about the people I visit whenever a new post invites me to! It's nice getting - somehwat - personal.
I just love the word etcetorize! It sounds like a word which fills a formerly empty spot perfectly! :)
OMG you said the magic words: Potato Chips...and Peanut Butter. If you had mentioned Diet coke I think I would move to Canada. I even did a post on my love for them Peanut butter and Diet Coke. Has a ring doesn't it?
Hello, I also love your word Etcetorize. I find it very creative. I will definitely use it and have persons wondering what the heck is she talking about. lol

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who owns two cats who cannot stand one another! Jamie, 18 years old, hisses constantly at Sapphire, the 3-year-old. That, plus two boys, is more than I can handle. Hooray for girls, and girly things, and crafts, and traveling!!! I am your newest follower, and hope you will follow me, too at www.piecedbrain.com!
Hi Tammy,
I found your blog through Pinterest. My family is from Elfros, Saskatchewan. I used to come visit my uncle's farm in the summer when I was little. I loved it out there. Especially the Northern Lights! I hope to bring my kids there some day. You live in a beautiful part of the world. Thank you for sharing your creativity :)
Thank you,
Ursula
I am looking for the directions to make the Christmas tree card on your blog for November. I love it and I like doing some of the tea bag folding. Haven't done much but so far I like it.
Thanks Sharon
Hi Sharon! Did you know that your email is set to 'no-reply'? I'll have to answer you here. I think the card you're looking for was actually posted in October : http://etcetorize.blogspot.ca/2012/10/o-christmas-tree.html . If that's not it, just take a look on the Show & Tell and Tutorial tabs and you should be able to find it from there.
Have fun!
I've been looking over a lot of your tutorials. You are a fascinating crafter! Bracelets, journals to homemade panties? Love it! I'm looking forward to 2013, cause I know you're gonna make my project making very interesting!!!
Hi Tamara!
Are you interested to use Stampin Up products?
Hi Tammy,
I love your idea for the lace skirt! I can relate to where you live as I grew up in Sask and my family is from the Melfort/Tisdale area so COLD winters are the norm. Sometimes I miss Saskatchewan but not the weather!
Hang in there...
