So, this weekend I made another pair. I used this cute girls top that I picked up at the Thrift Store ages ago for $1:
I love the colours, and the sparkles, and the rhinestones, and the funky mandala pattern!
I used this 1980's pattern from Kwik Sew:
Kwik Sew makes the best lingerie patterns. I used View A. |
And I came up with this!
I think they're super cute. They fit perfectly and are very comfy. Anyone else out there making their own sweet nothings? What's your favourite pattern company for underthings? Leave a comment below~
Beautiful Tamara, love the colors, very sweet!! :)

Hahaha!!! I was just thinking about making undies! Bonus: My step daughter just went through her clothes. I have been brainstorming how to use the non-garage-sale worthy ones. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBTW, beauties!
Very pretty AND repurposed! I'm in awe that you're making your own undies.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to make my own undies.... I guess you could say it is on my list.... a very long list... but it is on there...lol...
ReplyDeleteYour undies look fabulous.... so I guess i need to find a pattern and jump on the band wagon.
I used to sew quite a bit, ever since that class in jr high school. But I've fallen away, mostly due to lack of proximity to a sewing machine. Never thought of repurposing thrift store finds. Interesting.
