Have you ever visited Instructables? It's a pretty neat place.
I've been trying out lots of different submission sites in an effort to drive more traffic over here to Etcetorize. Submissions sites are forums where you can submit tutorials or photos of your projects and they'll link back to you and hopefully send visitors your way.
So far, I've shared 5 tutorials on Instructables and all 5 have been featured! That means more people than usual are getting know what I do, and if they like it, they're coming here to find similar projects.
This is an awesome tool for newbie bloggers but it's also just a great place for you to find projects and inspiration from other creative people.
They have several different categories, from electronics and technology, to living, gardening, and food. And within each of those categories you'll loads more sub-categories. There are some weird projects, but there also lots of wonderful projects too!
If you want to find new and interesting sewing projects, just go to the living section and you'll find sewing...along with 34 other fascinating categories!
And now...for the giveaway!
I have a one year pro-membership for Instructables up for grabs
along with 2 3-month pro-memberships as runner up prizes.
Here's the difference between a pro membership and free membership:
Oh yeah, did I mention they have contests, free e-books, and you can download your projects as Adobe Acrobat files? Pretty nifty, right?
All you have to do is be a public follower of Etcetorize
and leave a comment in the box below telling me which
Etcetorize tutorial inspires you to make something.
(If you've tried one you can even leave a link so we can all see your version!)
This giveaway is going to be a quickie, deadline for entries is Sunday, July 22nd at midnight. I'll announce the winners on Tuesday, July 24th. Remember, you only have to enter once to get three chances to win!
Good luck and thank you so much
